Our Founders

Adam Wallingford

Founder & CEO

Adam is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The DriveSafe Initiative (DSI). Before starting DSI, Adam spent 10 years as a diplomat with the U.S. Department of State. For four of years, he served as the Driving Safety Program Administrator in Maputo, Mozambique, where he directed the DriveCam Safety Program for the U.S. Mission. Mozambique is one of the most dangerous countries to drive in the world.

In 2020, Adam returned to Nebraska and operated three delivery businesses, employing over 100 drivers for Amazon, FedEx, and OnTrac Logistics. He implemented AI camera technology in these businesses and saw firsthand the impact it had on driver behavior.

As his children approached driving age, Adam realized the most effective safety technology should focus on the best drivers, not just the riskiest ones. This insight led him to found the DriveSafe Initiative in 2025.
